Meet Ari Gagné Ph.D.

With over two decades in the mortgage industry, Ari brings a strategic, client-first approach to every transaction.

As the founder of Independent Home Mortgage, his focus is simple—deliver better options, better pricing, and a better experience.

Ari was born and raised in the Paradise/Magalia area of Butte County. After graduating from Paradise High School he attended UC Davis where he completed his Pre-Med requirements and played for their NCAA II golf team. Ari eventually went on to earn his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Taking his father's advice, Ari entered the field of real estate lending in 2003. He quickly became a top producer on the national level. In 2016, Ari received recognition for being one of the top 25 loan officers in the entire country for customer satisfaction.

In his free time Ari enjoys playing golf, practicing music, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with his Land Cruiser.
